There are two types of homes
- The one that have termites
- The one that will have termites
|

Xterm™ is a revolutionary termite baiting technology, incorporating a highly palatable matrix infused with a super efficient, user friendly active ingredient.

TERMITES CAN’T RESIST THE TEMPTATION, CAN’T SURVIVE THE ELIMINATION. |

The Xterm™ matrix is mace of a specially selected compressed cellulose. The bait ingredient is a highly active, new generation Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that affects the moulting process of termites. It is virtually harmless to vertebrates. Compressed cellulose tablets of bait are held inside sealed cartridges, which are themselves placed inside specially-designed bait stations, making the Xterm™ baiting system extra safe in sensitive areas.

Xterm™ Above-Ground Termite Bait Stations should be installed by trained pest management professionals after a thorough inspection. During the initial deployment of Xterm™ only one cartridge is normally placed in the bait station. Scheduled inspections follow. When this cartridge is depleted, a second is placed in the slot next to the first, so reducing disturbance of the feeding termites, and minimizing the chances of their abandoning the bait station.

Xterm™ In-Ground Termite Bait Stations are installed with a monitoring bait cartridge that contains no active ingredient. When termites are detected, a bait cartridge with active ingredient is simply put on top of the monitoring cartridge. This simple bait replenishment method allows easy and flexible inspection with the least amount of disturbance.

Termites Threat |
Termites cause the destruction of millions of dollars of property every year. No building is ever immune to their attack. Most of the time they go undetected, hidden away in their tunnels within the building structure, until it is too late.

Solution- Termites Baits
Traditional termiticides create a barrier in the soil that prevents termites from entering the house. This barrier is seldom 100% effective. If tiniest gap can be found by these persistent creatures, then in they come. Once they gain entry, all wooden structures within your home become a target.

Soil barrier treatments often involve the drilling of holes in and around the property with associated damage, followed by the pumping of large volumes of liquid chemical. Not only is this detrimental to your home, it can also have other unpleasant side effects. The only real sound solution to the termite problem is baiting.

Termite baits use the minimal amount of chemical to eliminate termite colonies. This is possible by exploiting the termites’ natural food sharing behaviour – a process known as trophallaxis. Termite workers feed on the bait, and take it back to their colony to share. This process repeats itself until the colony structure collapses and its members die.
